The Salient Features of the Law and Issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC)

Data protection and privacy regulations can require you and your company to keep individuals’ personal data secure and private.

Privacy and data security issues impact every industry and affect almost all aspects of a company’s operations. sales, human resources, data maintenance and storage, IT, legal and compliance, even litigation, all require careful attention to protecting the privacy of personal information as well as preserving the integrity of company, customer or third party data.

Atty. Ivy Grace T. Villasosto of National Privacy Commission, developed this seminar to help you and your organization navigate the legal and the practical challenges businesses face from rapidly evolving laws and even more rapidly evolving technology in these areas.

Who Should Attend?

Business owners and managers who are concerned about: Data Protection and Privacy of confidential information, having your systems held to ransom, being defrauded and losing valuable working time.

This is of particular importance for those organizations that handle ANY sensitive data such as credit card and financial or information, organizations that are too busy to face days of downtime following an attack or organizations who's reputation has been hard won and can't afford to lose it overnight.

CIOs, IT Managers, CFOs, and anyone responsible for or interested in training their employees to use best practices to keep your data assets safe.

This is a non-technical event and is suitable for all members of an organization.
